Optimisation and inverse problems

Themes found in this axis have in common to solve a problem in an reverse way.

The team works on :
  •  Optimization: this behavior is imposed by a specification, and try to determine not only the control variables (current, voltage, ...) but also the optimal dimensions of the device under study. The team focuses on two complementary approaches:
    • Direct optimization, based on analytical models or semi-analytical, which can rapidly process problems with many parameters,
  • Inverse problems: from some measurements around a device (observed data), the purpose is to obtained values of some model parameters.
