Integral Methods

Integral methods are based on full interactions between different types of sources of electromagnetic field (currents, charges, dielectric and magnetic materials, magnets ,...). Today, they are becoming more and more important for the team.

We interested in all sorts of integral formulations  (magnétosatiques, electrostatic, electrodynamic ...) and technix of interaction matrices compacting  (Fast Multipole Method ,...).

Some of these formulations has been integrated into  LOCAPI  and InCa3D softwares.

A new project, called MIPSE and led with the team Power Electronics  of the laboratory, aims to create a new generation of tools around integral methods. The general idea is to offer open environment for research, allowing fast  developpments and leading to software tools for industrial applications.
