SYREL: Systems and Electrical Network

The SYREL research team works on the evolution, optimization and management of power systems. These are the systems for the production, transport and use of electrical energy whether in housing, data centres, embedded networks, distribution networks or transport networks. One of the characteristics of the team is that we conduct upstream and applied research work in a sector which is strongly linked to industrial applications, demonstrators and major national and European projects. Among other criteria, SYREL is the most important academic team in terms of the number of researchers, in France, in electrical engineering research dealing with power systems and networks. Our activity in distribution networks is internationally recognized.
